Andromeda Demining Systems (ADS) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Department of Civil Protection, Defense Affairs and Cooperation with Law Enforcement Agencies of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

The agreement is aimed at implementing the free digital mine-safety platform DEMI for residents of the region.

DEMI platform is a chatbot that provides the public with guidance on mine safety and first aid. It offers interactive training on safe behavior, adapts educational content to the user’s age group, and tests knowledge with automatic assessment of the results.

Access to the platform is free and anonymous, and no registration is required.

Under the memorandum, ADS will ensure uninterrupted access to the platform for educational institutions, businesses, and residents of the Cherkasy region.

The company will also provide training for teachers and occupational safety personnel and adapt the platform’s content to the specific regional conditions and risks of Cherkasy region.

The Department of Civil Protection, Defense Affairs and Cooperation with Law Enforcement Agencies will support the dissemination of the platform through regional education authorities and development structures.

The cooperation is intended to strengthen the mine-safety culture among the population and provide residents with a modern, accessible, and practical tool for learning how to behave safely in areas where explosive hazards may be present.

The expansion of DEMI at the regional level is part of Andromeda Demining Systems’ broader approach to mine action, combining humanitarian demining, public risk education, digital technologies, and innovative solutions for protecting civilians.
